一般描述
线粒体复合物III或泛醇-细胞色素c还原酶是位于线粒体膜上的电子传递链的第三个复合物。它存在于所有需氧真核生物的线粒体以及大多数细菌的内膜中。它将电子从CoQH(还原型辅酶Q或泛醇)转移到细胞色素c,导致细胞色素c的还原。这种还原的细胞色素c是电子传输链的复合物IV的底物。
适用性
适用于测量分离的线粒体中的线粒体复合物III活性。
原理
线粒体复合物III活性测定基于通过复合物III的活性减少细胞色素c。还原的细胞色素c的吸光度可以在A550 nm处测量。它是测定分离的线粒体中复合物III活性的快速可靠的方法。该试剂盒可检测低至10 mU/mL,线性高达30 mU/mL。
