生化/生理作用
细胞色素c氧化酶[EC 1.9.3.1]位于线粒体内膜上,将线粒体基质和膜间隙分离开来，一直被用作这种膜的标记物。在细菌的细胞质膜上，也存在细胞色素c氧化酶。细胞色素c氧化酶可通过氧化磷酸化过程连接细胞色素链之间的电子转运，为细胞提供能量。
