L-高丝氨酸内酯抑制能够减少毒力因子并阻止炎症和组织损伤。[1] 在铜绿假单胞菌(Pseudomonas aeruginosa)中,它能够控制毒力因子产生和生物膜形成。在根癌农杆菌( Agrobacterium tumefaciens)中,它是接合转移的必需成分。[4]
