G418二硫酸盐是一种氨基糖苷类抗生素,其结构与庆大霉素相似,用于选择和维持原核和真核细胞。不同细胞系具有不同的筛选和维持最佳浓度。 细菌和藻类最多需要5 μg/mL而动物细胞则可能需要300-500 μg/mL。

生化/生理作用

作用机制:G418可通过抑制70S和80S核糖体的合成来阻止多肽合成和蛋白质延伸。

抗菌谱:G418可选择经iNOS启动子构建体和新霉素抗性基因稳定转染的细胞,并显示出对原生动物和蠕虫的活性。
