一般描述
二乙氧基二甲基硅烷（DEDMS）是一种有机改性硅酸盐（ORMOSIL），其每个单元中有两个可促进疏水性的甲基。它主要用于各种基材的功能化修饰。
应用
DEDMS和三乙氧基甲基硅烷的复合材料可用于合成液态树脂前体，用于制备硅碳氧（SiOC）。它可以在可用作抗氧化食品包装材料的聚酰胺-聚乙烯（PA / PE）上形成溶胶-凝胶涂层。它也可用作合成聚二甲基硅氧烷的前体，该聚二甲基硅氧烷可与水性聚氨酯形成防腐涂料复合材料。
二乙氧基二甲基硅烷 (DMDES) 可用于改性环氧树脂6、纯二氧化硅和 Pd/SiO2 氢气传感器的表面。表表面改性增强了传感器的气体感测性能增强。{43}-{44}二乙氧基二甲基硅烷可用作合成超细SiC粉末的前体。{45}研究报告称其用作ORMOSIL（有机改性的硅酸盐）和a-SiOxCyHz薄膜的前体。{47}
