Nunc^® latch rack

“Nunc” is an automation friendly 1.8 mL externally threaded universal tube to enhance the efficacy and throughput of your sample storage workflow. The latch rack features an ANSI SBS footprint that is compatible with automation platforms for liquid handling and sample storage. These tubes are available in racked or bulk formats, with options for 2D barcodes or non-coded tubes. Additionally, empty racks are also available for your convenience.

Innovative Universal Cap Design:

• Features a single-piece construction with a molded-in gasket.
• Designed to prevent over-tightening, both manually and with automated capping tools.
• The gasket material is made from thermoplastic elastomer, ensuring compatibility with storage at room temperature and down to the vapor phase of liquid nitrogen.

Secure Tracking:

• The base of each tube features a permanently bonded, unique 2D barcode laser-etched for secure sample identification and tracking.
• Instant scanning by 2D barcode readers enables easy registration in any application or database, with various export options available.
• Access sample information and identify contents by simply scanning the tube.
• Tube 374502NOV has a 1D (linear) barcode and a human-readable code on the side, corresponding to the 2D barcode on the bottom of the tube.

Stringent Quality Control:

• Scanning is performed on each 2D barcoded storage tube to ensure readability.
• The barcodes undergo cross-checking with a database of previously assigned codes to avoid duplicates.
• Every tube is manufactured with class VI medical-grade resins and has a sterility assurance level of 10^6.
