一般描述
CD3基因定位于人类染色体11q23.3。编码的蛋白质以CD3ε、CD3γ和CD3δ三种亚型形式存在，每个都包含一个N端胞外域、一个跨膜片段和一个胞质域。CD3 是在所有人 T 淋巴细胞表面表达的 20kDa 糖蛋白。
小鼠单克隆抗体OKT3可识别成熟人T细胞上TCR/CD3复合物的CD3抗原。该抗体也称为Orthoclone OKT3或Muromonab-CD3，已被广泛用作治疗同种异体肾移植、心脏移植和肝脏移植的急性、糖皮质激素耐药性排斥反应的药物。还研究了其用于治疗T细胞急性淋巴细胞白血病的用途。
应用
小鼠抗CD3单克隆抗体可用于增殖试验。

生化/生理作用
包含CD3ε、CD3γ和CD3δ的T细胞受体CD3复合物，在诱导导致T细胞活化的早期代谢事件中起关键性作用。在T-B+ NK+严重合并免疫缺陷症（SCID）患者中观察到了CD3ε突变。
