Cytokeratin 19 (KRT19) is a cytoplasmic intermediate filament protein with a α-helical central domain. It belongs to the acidic type I cytokeratin family of proteins (KRTs). This gene is mapped to human chromosome 17q21.

The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human Keratin 19.
