胃蛋白酶原II是一种主要在胃主细胞中产生的天冬氨酸蛋白酶。它广泛分布于各物种的胃肠道中。胃蛋白酶原II是一种精浆蛋白,还以酶原的形式存在于胃粘膜中。它主要由带底物结合裂隙的β片材组成。该裂隙位于两个裂片之间,由两个催化位点的天冬氨酸(Asp32和Asp215)组成。胃蛋白酶原II基因位于人类染色体6p21.1上。
生化/生理作用
