Application

Biochem/physiol Actions

General description
本品为 0.2 μm 过滤水溶液,含 1 mg/mL 来自大肠杆菌血清型 O55:B5 的脂多糖 (LPS)。来源菌株为 CDC 1644-70。这种 LPS 血清型已被用于感染性休克和心肌炎的研究。
Preparation Note
用于制备溶液的 LPS 经过苯酚提取和凝胶过滤层析纯化。通过苯酚提取制备的脂多糖含有高达 60% 的 RNA 和少于 1% 的蛋白质。随后通过凝胶过滤色谱法进行纯化,可去除苯酚提取的 LPS 中存在的大部分蛋白质,但留下的产物仍含有 10-20% 的核酸。采用离子交换色谱法进一步纯化,得到含 < 1% 蛋白质和 < 1%RNA 的 LPS 产品。
