核纤层蛋白A（C-末端）抗体适用于HeLa核提取物的蛋白质免疫印迹（0.1-0.2 μg/mL）。该抗体还可以用于HeLa细胞、大鼠NRK和小鼠3T3细胞的间接免疫荧光测定（1-2 μg/mL）。另外，核纤层蛋白A（C-末端）抗体适用于蛋白质免疫印迹（约70kDa）。核纤层蛋白A的切割片段还可以形成45-50kDa的条带。

Biochem/physiol Actions

核纤层蛋白A和C的突变与多种人类罕见病有关，包括肌营养不良、脂肪营养不良、心肌病、神经病和类早衰综合征（统称为核纤层蛋白病）以及早衰症（Hutchinson-Gilford早衰综合征）。

核纤层蛋白A的47kDa片段可促进细胞死亡期间的染色质凝聚和核质降解。

General description

核纤层蛋白是核纤层的结构蛋白。核纤层蛋白A是LMNA基因编码的A型核纤层蛋白。核纤层蛋白A含有664个氨基酸，在大多数体细胞中表达。它具有可装配成纤维的α螺旋杆状结构域、核定位信号和靶向核膜的羧基末端CAAX盒异戊二烯化序列。

Immunogen

对应于具有C末端添加半胱氨酸的人核纤层蛋白A的氨基酸598-611的合成肽，与KLH偶联。与大鼠的相应序列相差1个氨基酸，与小鼠相应序列相差3个氨基酸，大鼠和小鼠的核纤层蛋白A的序列相差1个氨基酸。
