一般描述
平衡盐溶液（BSS）用作冲洗、运输和稀释液体，同时维持细胞内和细胞外的渗透平衡。它还为细胞提供正常细胞代谢所必需的水和某些大块无机离子。BSS与碳水化合物（如葡萄糖）结合时，是细胞代谢的主要能量来源。此外，它还提供了一个缓冲系统，以维持培养基的生理pH值范围（7.2-7.6）。
