一般描述
IgG 抗体由四个亚类组成：IgG1、IgG2、IgG3和IgG4。IgG 结构具有四个多肽链，分别包含两个相同的γ重 (H) 链和两个相同 κ 或 λ 轻 (L) 链，分别为 50 kDa 和 25 kDa。这些链是由二硫键相连的。
IgG抗体亚型是免疫系统中含量最高的血清免疫球蛋白。它由B细胞分泌，存在于血液和细胞外液中，可防止细菌、真菌和病毒引起的感染。母体IgG通过胎盘传递给胎儿，对于新生儿抗感染免疫防御至关重要。

应用
羊抗小鼠 IgG（全分子）−FITC 抗体可用于流式细胞术。
该抗体可以1:64的工作稀释度用于小鼠脾细胞免疫荧光染色。使用 1:40 的工作抗体稀释液对灰葡萄孢菌的分生孢子进行免疫荧光染色。该抗体还用于对与抗CD45的一抗一起孵育的原代黄体细胞培养物以及与抗人血影蛋白抗体一起孵育的球轮藻假根进行免疫荧光。
生化/生理作用
在补体系统激活中，IgG（免疫球蛋白 G）抗体与 IgM 抗体的功能相似。IgG参与II型和III型超敏反应。它有助于调理，补体固定和抗体依赖细胞介导的细胞毒性。
