Application

Biochem/physiol Actions

α−微管蛋白N-末端结构域以非交换机制与GTP结合,而高度酸性的C-末端结构域则能够结合微管相关蛋白(MAP)。这两个结构域都与微管自组装相关。微管在有丝分裂、细胞内转运、睫状鞭毛运动以及细胞形状的产生和维持中起到了结构性和活动元素的作用。微管蛋白 α-4A基因突变会导致称作肌萎缩侧索硬化的神经退行性疾病。
该抗体在免疫印迹检测中对α-tubulin具有特异性,并可用于培养细胞或组织切片中α-tubulin的定位。该抗体可与鸡成纤维细胞产生最佳的反应。

General description

αβ-微管蛋白是微管的主要建构单元,属于微管蛋白超家族。它们在所有真核细胞中普遍存在。它在许多生物体中存在多种同种型。†它是一个异二聚体,具有细胞内中空圆柱形丝状结构。它定位于人类染色体2q35。 α/β-微管蛋白和 γ-微管蛋白是蛋白微管蛋白超家族成员。α/β-微管蛋白是异二聚体,由一条 α-微管蛋白链和一条 β-微管蛋白链组成;每个亚基的分子量均为55 kDa,具有相当大的同源性。微管蛋白是一种高度保守的蛋白质,具有两个末端结构域:大N末端和C末端。

Preparation Note
