辣根过氧化物酶（HRP）是一种可催化显色底物转化的酶，如邻苯二胺（OPD）、4-氯-1-萘酚3,3'、5,5'-四甲基联苯胺（TMB）、3,3′-二氨基联苯胺（DAB）或 2,2′-连氮-双（3-乙基苯并噻唑啉-6-磺酸）（ABTS）；化学发光底物如CPS-3（增强的腔）和荧光底物如Ampliflu™ Red分别成为可检测的发色团、发光体或荧光剂。

应用
山羊多克隆抗人IgM（μ链特异性）F(ab′)2片段过氧化物酶抗体可用于通过显色、化学发光或荧光免疫化学或免疫组织化学技术检测和定量人血清和生物体液中的IgM水平。 使用特异性HRP偶联的山羊抗人IgMμ链作为二抗，对从EBV+人B细胞建立的EBV+BCL进行ELISA分析。二抗在室温下孵育2小时。
过氧化物偶联的山羊F(abμ)2片段抗人IgM（′-链特异性）已被用作二抗，以使用ELISA检测针对汉坦病毒抗原的人IgM。

0.01 M磷酸盐缓冲液（pH 7.4，含有带保存剂的1％牛血清白蛋白）溶液。
制备说明
按照Wilson, M.B.,和Nakane, P.K.在由阿姆斯特丹Elsevier/北荷兰生物医学出版社出版的免疫荧光及相关染色技术（1978）一书中所描述的高碘酸盐法而制备。
