5-氮杂胞苷可用于诱导成人骨髓间充质干细胞的体外心肌向分化。它也可用于研究5-氮杂胞苷对骨髓来源的免疫调节性抑制细胞(MDSC)和调节性T细胞(Treg)的影响。
用于研究DNA掺入分子对DNA甲基化过程的影响。

生化/生理作用

5-氮杂胞苷是脱氧胞苷类似物和去甲基化剂。它可作为急性骨髓性白血病的潜在抗肿瘤药。5-氮杂胞苷通过抑制DNA甲基化来激活被抑制的基因。5-氮杂胞苷还通过改变RNA功能和稳定性来影响蛋白质合成。
一种强效生长抑制剂及细胞毒素剂,抑制 DNA 甲基转移酶,一种基因表达、基因激活和沉默的重要调节机制。

重悬

    Dissolve each 1.2 mg vial in 10 mL of culture medium. This compound is very unstable in aqueous solutions; we have found a 10% loss after just 2-3 hours at room temperature in phosphate buffer pH 7.4, even faster loss at 50°C. We generally recommend keeping solutions on ice during the course of a day. If stock solution must be kept, store them in the freezer at -20°C in single use aliquots.
