General description

拟南芥有复杂的肌动蛋白基因家族，其编码 6 个蛋白亚类。其中一类以蛋白 ACT2 和 ACT8 为代表，它们是相似的蛋白，但在密码子中具有不同的侧翼序列、内含子和沉默核苷酸位置。 ACT8 在根、茎、叶、花、花粉和角果中均有表达。
单克隆抗肌动蛋白（植物）抗体识别几种植物（包括盘基网柄菌）中的肌动蛋白。在拟南芥中，该抗体识别所有 8 种肌动蛋白亚型（ACT1、2、3、4、7、8、11 和 12）。
单克隆抗肌动蛋白（植物）（小鼠IgG2b同种型）源自杂交瘤10-B3（MabGPa），该杂交瘤由 ACT8 蛋白免疫 BALB/c小鼠，取其脾细胞与小鼠骨髓瘤细胞（SP2/0细胞）融合产生。 拟南芥中，肌动蛋白分为两个主要的系统发育类别，即生殖类和营养类。
