General description

B细胞主要以五聚体形式分泌IgM抗体,但也可能以能够更有效地激活补体级联的六聚体形式分泌。
山羊抗人 IgM(mu 链特异性)过氧化物酶抗体对人 IgM 具有特异性,不与其他人 Ig 结合。此外,该抗体不与小鼠和大鼠 IgG 反应。因此,其抗体结合物可降低小鼠或大鼠样品背景。

Biochem/physiol Actions

IgM 在吞噬凋亡细胞中起着关键作用。血清IgM水平降低会导致自身免疫反应增强,并增加感染风险。IgM显示出多反应和自动反应功能。它可通过介导基于组织的分子的清除在组织动态平衡中起关键作用。
