N-癸酰基-DL-高丝氨酸内酯是N-酰基-高丝氨酸内酯家族的成员。N-酰基高丝氨酸内酯(AHL)调节革兰氏阴性菌中的基因表达,例如埃希氏杆菌沙门氏菌涉及细菌间的群体感应、细胞间通讯。一些AHL是人类免疫细胞(如嗜中性粒细胞)的强效化学诱导剂。
