生化/生理作用

钙黄绿素AM是一种膜可渗透的非荧光分子。它可通过细胞内酯酶转化为荧光钙黄绿素。钙黄绿素具有有限的膜渗透性。钙黄绿素AM也是p-糖蛋白(Pgp)的底物。Pgp的存在会导致钙黄绿素AM的流出,从而降低胞内的荧光。另一方面,Pgp抑制剂的存在可增加钙黄绿素AM的细胞进入,从而增加细胞的荧光。钙黄绿素AM在早期药物发现中起着重要作用。
