应用

Mueller Hinton琼脂是一种固体培养基，最初设计用于分离病原性奈瑟菌，现已广泛用于临床标本中分离出的需氧菌和兼性厌氧菌进行抗菌药物敏感试验（包括磺胺类药）。

制备说明

将38 g本品悬浮于1升蒸馏水中，煮沸，完全溶解培养基，在121°C高压灭菌15分钟。

其他说明

将血液添加到 Mueller-Hinton 琼脂中，可以增强头孢噻肟和其他头孢霉素对粪肠球菌的作用
