Anti-LIMK1 Antibody, clone 40/00-1B11-1-1

LIM Kinase 1 (LIMK1) is a protein kinase that plays an important role in cellular functions like cell motility and growth cone actin dynamics. LIMK1 contains one PDZ domain and two LIM domains which mediate protein to protein inteactions. It is widely expressed in the adult and fetal nervous system with the highest levels being found in the cerebral cortex. Mutations in LIMK1 have been associated with cardiovascular and musculo-skeletal abnormalities.

Evaluated by Western Blot in PC3 cell lysate.

Western Blot Analysis: 0.5 µg/ml of this antibody detected LIMK1 on 10 µg of PC3 cell lysate.
