2-(二异丙基氨基)甲基丙烯酸乙酯(DPA)是一种甲基丙烯酸类单体，用于制备各种DPA聚合物，包括聚2-(二异丙基氨基)甲基丙烯酸乙酯(PDPA)。PDPA是水溶性聚合物，对pH和温度变化敏感。在低于pKa值（约6.5）的pH下，PDPA会由疏水变为亲水。这种转变是因为它的氨基发生质子化。PDPA聚合物这一独特性质令其十分适合药物递送、基因递送、传感器、表面、膜和色谱等各种各样的应用。

- 作为单体合成嵌段共聚物聚乙二醇-b-聚2-(二异丙基氨基)甲基丙烯酸乙酯(PEG-b-PDPAEMA)。这类pH响应型胶束可用于改进细胞内药物递送。DPA单体负责共聚物的pH响应性。
