3,4-二羟基氢化肉桂酸(DHCA)属于羟基肉桂酸类单体。DHCA,又称二氢咖啡酸,可聚合形成各种咖啡酸聚合物。这些聚合物由于其抗氧化和抗菌性能,可用于涂料、薄膜和包装材料的开发。咖啡酸聚合物在药物输送系统、组织工程和生物活性化合物的包封方面也具有潜在应用前景。此外,由于具有抗氧化和抗炎特性,这些聚合物还可添加到化妆品和个人护理产品中。

应用
