一般描述

生物素(维生素B7或维生素H)是由脲基环和四氢噻吩环稠合而成的水溶性B族维生素。它存在于多种食物中,如全谷物、坚果、荚果、糙米和蛋黄。正常肠道菌群也会产生生物素。

生化/生理作用

生物素是多个代谢途径的羧化酶的重要辅因子。它还用作脂肪酸、异亮氨酸和缬氨酸的代谢辅酶。生物素可支持二氧化碳传递,还可维持血糖水平稳定。生物素与糖异生和柠檬酸循环有关。它参与角蛋白合成,因此可用作皮肤、头发和指甲的生长补充剂。生物素是细胞生长、脂肪酸生产以及脂肪和氨基酸代谢必需成分。
