Cytoplasmic dynein 1 intermediate chain 1 (UniProt: O14576; also known as Cytoplasmic dynein intermediate chain 1, Dynein intermediate chain 1, cytosolic, DH IC-1) is encoded by the DYNC1I1 (also known as DNCI1, DNCIC1) gene (Gene ID: 1780) in human. DYNC1I1 is a widely expressed, homodimeric protein of the dynein intermediate chain family with seven WD repeats. It acts as one of the several non-catalytic accessory components of the cytoplasmic dynein 1 complex that is involved in linking dynein to cargos and to adapter proteins that regulate dynein function. It is located in several cellular components, including kinetochore, recycling endosomes, and spindle pole. Cytoplasmic dynein 1 acts as a motor for the intracellular retrograde motility of vesicles and organelles along microtubules. The intermediate chains mediate the binding of dynein to dynactin via its N-terminal amino acid sequence (aa 2-123). It may also play a role in mediating the interaction of cytoplasmic dynein with me

Purified recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody IgG, lyophilized in PBS with 5% Trehalose, normal appearance a coarse or translucent resin. The PBS/trehalose components in the ZooMAb formulation can have the appearance of a semi-solid (bead like gel) after lyophilization. This is a normal phenomenon. Please follow the recommended reconstitution procedure in the data sheet to dissolve the semi-solid, bead-like, gel-appearing material. The resulting antibody solution is completely stable and functional as proven by full functional testing. Contains no biocide or preservatives, such as azide, or any animal by-products.
