Suitable for bacterial cultivation, freeze drying and general drying in vacuum. Combines a 2 mL Eppendorf Safe-Lock tube with a porous membrane insert to produce a culture tube suitable for use on a 1 mL scale. Reduces waste of larger glass or plastic culture tubes, allowing economical use of media. Space saving, particularly if used with Eppendorf Thermomixer.
