生化/生理作用
α-玉米赤霉烯醇(α-ZOL)是玉米赤霉烯酮的分解代谢产物,主要在猪的颗粒细胞、肠和肝中合成。它具有雌激素功能。α-ZOL可能通过引起遗传毒性作用来抑制马的精子活力。α-ZOL对雌激素受体有较高的亲和力。
