睾酮3-(O-羧甲基)肟已用于电鱼Apteronotus中性二态性的激素分析。该睾酮衍生物也已用于开发用于检测水样中睾酮的环境生物传感器。
生化/生理作用
雄激素在胚胎发生和青春期指导雄性表型的发展。睾酮是由睾丸分泌的雄激素。该激素在靶组织中转化为二氢睾酮,在那里它可以介导几种生物学功能。
