一般描述

γ-微管蛋白定位于人染色体 17q21.2 上，编码微管蛋白家族的成员。它位于微管组织中心。γγ-微管蛋白由两种同工型组成，即微管蛋白γ 1（TUBG1）和微管蛋白γ 2（TUBG2），两者具有97.3％的氨基酸同一性。除这两种同工型之外，在人17号染色体还鉴定出 γ微管蛋白假基因（TUBG1P）。人TUBG1和TUBG2 转录物分别在植入前胚胎和脑中广泛表达。γ-微管是 γ-微管环复合物（γ-TuRC）的组分，直径与微管大致相同。

特异性

抗体可识别位于γ-微管蛋白N-末端区域内的表位。

生化/生理作用

γ在体内，-微管蛋白在整个哺乳动物细胞周期中使微管组装成核。在构巢曲霉（Aspergillus nidulans）中，γ-微管蛋白促进微管附着于纺锤极体、核分裂和微管组装。乳腺癌 1蛋白（BRCA1）导致的-γ微管蛋白泛素化是调节中心体数量的关键步骤。肺癌中γ-微管蛋白过表达。微管蛋白γ2（TUBG2）在细胞生长中起关键作用。 γ-微管蛋白基因畸变改变微管组装。γ微管蛋白的表达水平可以认为是星形细胞瘤患者的重要预后指标。

0.01M 磷酸缓冲盐溶液，pH 7.4，含 15mM 叠氮化钠。

储存及稳定性

储存在-20°C。如需连续使用，请将该产品储存在2-8°C，最长一个月。要长期储存，将工作等分试样冷冻在20℃。不建议反复冻融，或存放在“无霜”冰箱中。如果长期储存时发生轻微浑浊，请在使用前通过离心澄清溶液。工作稀释液样品如果在12个小时内未使用，则应丢弃。
