Biochem/physiol Actions

General description

γ-微管蛋白定位于人染色体 17q21.2 上，编码微管蛋白家族的成员。它位于微管组织中心。γγ-微管蛋白由两种同工型组成，即微管蛋白γ 1（TUBG1）和微管蛋白γ 2（TUBG2），两者具有97.3％的氨基酸同一性。除这两种同工型之外，在人17号染色体还鉴定出 γ微管蛋白假基因（TUBG1P）。人TUBG1和TUBG2 转录物分别在植入前胚胎和脑中广泛表达。γ-微管是 γ-微管环复合物（γ-TuRC）的组分，直径与微管大致相同。
