Biochem/physiol Actions

General description

γ-微管蛋白定位于人染色体 17q21.2 上，编码微管蛋白家族的成员。它位于微管组织中心。γ-微管蛋白由两种同工型组成，即微管蛋白 γ 1（TUBG1）和微管蛋白γ 2（TUBG2），两者间氨基酸的一致性为97.3％。除这两种同工型之外，在人17号染色体还鉴定出 γ微管蛋白假基因（TUBG1P）。人TUBG1和TUBG2 转录物分别在植入前胚胎和脑中广泛表达。γ-微管是 γ-微管环复合物（γ-TuRC）的组分，直径与微管大致相同。γ-微管不与 α-微管 /β-微管聚合，而是定位于中心体和细胞质。

Immunogen

对应人 γ-微管蛋白（氨基酸 38-53，C 端添加赖氨酸） N 端区域的合成肽与 KLH 结合。该序列对 γ-微管蛋白具有特异性，而对微管蛋白家族的其他成员如 α−β−, δ和 ε−微管蛋白。该序列在小鼠和大鼠的 γ-微管蛋白中相同，并在物种（ 果蝇 、 曲霉 和酵母 γ-微管蛋白）中高度保留。
