应用

在昆虫细胞培养中用作抗氧化剂。
(+)-α生育酚乙酸酯用于:
  • 作为补充剂,用于培养人胚胎肾细胞(HEK 293),评估其对细胞生长的影响

生化/生理作用

α-生育酚乙酸酯或维生素E-乙酸酯具有抗氧化性能,减少脂质过氧化。不过,维生素E乙酸酯热分解会导致产生烯烃和苯之类致癌物。

注意

因为熔点约为 25℃,所以这种制剂通常是油。不发生空气氧化。
