白血病抑制因子（LIF）可抑制成肌细胞的分化、降低胱天蛋白酶-3的活性并阻断Bcl-xL（B细胞淋巴瘤-超大）水平的降低，进而防止阿霉素诱导的细胞凋亡。LIF与转化生长因子β2（TGFβ2）/纤维母细胞生长因子2（FGF2）一起调节肾发生。它可促进急性肾衰竭后肾小管的再生。它在由预处理诱导的氧化应激诱导的神经保护通路中起着重要作用。LIF能够维持胚胎干细胞的全能性。此外，它还参与控制胚胎干细胞、造血细胞和神经元细胞的分化。
General description
白血病抑制因子（LIF）是一种分泌型多效糖蛋白，是白细胞介素-6（IL-6）家族细胞因子gp130信号的成员之一。这种蛋白质最初被认为是一种阻止白血病细胞系生长的蛋白质。
Physical form
已通过0.22 微米滤器进行无菌过滤。从pH 7.4的1 x PBS中冻干。冻干前一般加入5-8%甘露醇或海藻糖作为保护剂。
Preparation Note
打开样品瓶之前需离心。用无菌去离子水重组至浓度为50 μg/mL。不可涡旋。该溶液可在2-8℃下储存长达1个月。如要长期储存，建议将其存放于-20℃。
