General description
鸢尾素是最近鉴定的由小鼠和人类骨骼肌分泌的运动诱导激素。鸢尾素是从I型膜蛋白FNDC5(纤连蛋白 III 型域包含蛋白 5)上切割出来的。 FNDC5主要表达于肌肉中。肾、肝和肺中也含有低水平的mRNA。 FNDC5基因位于人染色体1p35.1上。
Biochem/physiol Actions
鸢尾素(Irisin)能够激活米色脂肪细胞(米色细胞的基因表达模式与白色或棕色脂肪不同,并且对多肽激素鸢尾素更敏感),并通过增加能量消耗来改善全身代谢。它主要负责将白色脂肪转化为棕色脂肪。这种转化增强了代谢解偶联和热量消耗。 鸢尾素始终与运动对细胞代谢的有益反应有关。在肥胖和2型糖尿病患者中,低水平的循环鸢尾素是脂肪组织和肌肉的特征。
