General description

Biochem/physiol Actions
白细胞介素 4(IL-4) 刺激某些 B 细胞和 T 细胞的生长和存活。白细胞介素 4 受体还与白细胞介素 13(IL-13) 结合,这可能有助于这种细胞因子和 IL-13 的许多重叠功能。STAT6(信号转导和转录激活因子 6)已被证明在介导这种细胞因子的免疫调节信号中起核心作用。该蛋白质表现出抗炎反应,并通过防止细胞内病原体在免疫过程中发挥作用。
