General description

Biochem/physiol Actions
IL-6是一种多效细胞因子，它能够调节免疫和炎症反应，从而在宿主防御中发挥重要作用。IL-6由T细胞、单核细胞、成纤维细胞、内皮细胞和角质形成细胞产生，具有多种生物学功能。它能刺激B细胞分化和抗体产生，与IL-3协同作用于巨核细胞发育和血小板生成，诱导肝急性期蛋白的表达，并调节骨代谢。IL-6通过IL-6受体系统发出信号，该系统由IL-6R和gp130两条链组成。
