Biochem/physiol Actions
NT-3（神经营养因子3）可促进神经和神经胶质细胞的生长和存活。 它与神经保护，和与阿尔茨海默病的风险相关的基因多态性有关。 它还与注意力缺陷/多动障碍（ADHD）和情绪障碍有关。 NT-3可增强大脑中乳腺癌细胞的转移性增殖。
General description
NT-3（神经营养蛋白3）是与β-NGF（神经生长因子）、BDNF（脑源性神经营养因子）和NT-4结构相关的神经营养因子。这些蛋白属于生长因子的半胱氨酸结家族，其具有稳定的二聚体结构。NT-3由中枢神经系统的神经元表达，并可通过trk受体发出信号。 重组人NT-3是一个非共价连接的同源二聚体，具有两个13.6kDa多肽单体（总共240个氨基酸残基）。人、小鼠和大鼠的NT-3的氨基酸序列是相同的。
