Morroniside is a bioactive natural product with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity. Its activities have included protecttion against cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury by inhibiting neuron apoptosis and MMP2/9 expression and regulation of hair growth and cycle transition via activation of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway.
