生化/生理作用
毒胡萝卜素是一种有效的钙离子泵抑制剂,位于骨骼肌、心肌、肌肉和脑组织的肌质网(SR)和内质网(ER)微粒体上。钙离子泵的抑制会导致细胞内钙离子水平上升。100nM浓度的毒胡萝卜素可有效抑制心肌和骨骼肌中的SR Ca2+ -三磷酸腺苷酶(ATP酶)。毒胡萝卜素还可通过干扰自噬体-溶酶体融合而有效阻断自噬。
