AdipoRon是一种脂联素激动剂，可与脂联素受体AdipoR1和AdipoR2结合并激活，激活AMPK和PPAR-α通路，并以与脂联素本身类似的方式改善高脂饮食小鼠的胰岛素抵抗和葡萄糖耐量下降。AdipoRon不会影响体重，但确实增加了脂肪酸氧化相关基因的表达，降低了组织甘油三酯的含量，并延长了db / db小鼠的寿命。
