生化/生理作用

Alda-1 可减轻氧化应激对多种人体细胞(如肺内皮细胞、脐静脉内皮细胞和肝细胞)造成的损伤。
Alda-1 是 ALDH2 激动剂;野生型 ALDH2*1 和亚洲 E487K 突变体 ALDH2*2 形式的线粒体醛脱氢酶 2 的细胞可透过性激活剂。ALDH2 是氧化酶,其除去乙醇代谢物乙醛和其他脂肪醛。同时。 ALDH2 参与血管扩张剂硝酸甘油生物转化为一氧化氮的过程。Alda-1 通过 ALDH2*1(野生型)和 ALDH2*2(亚洲突变体)增加乙醛氧化,分别约 1.5 倍和 6 倍。似乎 Alda-1 通过增强 NAD 结合来刺激 ALDH2 的乙醛氧化,但不增强亚洲突变体的硝酸甘油结合亲和力。
