一般描述

四氢姜黄素(THC)是姜黄素的无色代谢产物。结构与姜黄素类似。THC的化学结构中不含α, β-不饱和羰基。是来源于莪术(Curcuma zedoaria)、姜笋(Zingiber mioga)和姜(Zingiber officinale)根部的天然产物。

应用

四氢姜黄素(THC)已作为神经保护剂,研究其在缺血性中风小鼠模型中改善线粒体功能障碍的治疗潜力。

生化/生理作用
