一般描述
小鼠单克隆抗弹性蛋白抗体（小鼠IgG1同种型）分离自BA-4杂交瘤，该杂交瘤是由小鼠骨髓瘤细胞与来自用牛α-弹性蛋白免疫的BALB/c小鼠的脾脏细胞融合产生的。

生化/生理作用
弹性蛋白（ELN）可提供弹性，并与来自ECM的其他蛋白质整合成弹性原纤维。弹性蛋白会随着衰老和许多疾病状态而发生形态变化。此外，弹性蛋白的分子缺陷可能导致多种遗传性疾病，如瓣上主动脉瓣狭窄、角质层松弛、马凡综合征、弹性假性黄瘤和Buschke-Ollendorf综合征。
