Human hCG (intact) ELISA Kit has been used in the detection of β-human chorionic gonadotropin in human plasma samples.
生化/生理作用
Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) produced by syncytiotrophoblast cells of the placenta, is crucial for the maintenance of pregnancy and corpus luteum functionality. Hyperglycosylated hCG (hCGh) not only promotes cell growth during implantation, but favors tumor growth and invasion in cancer. hCGh levels is indicative of malignancies like Down syndrome in pregnancies. hCG based vaccine has contraceptive functionality.
