Analysis Note
Detection and characterization of protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) activity during purification (column fractions, etc.) of natural and recombinant PTPases, such as LAR phosphatase (CD45), in cell, tissue extracts and immunoprecipitates. The kit rapidly detects the inorganic phosphate released by PTPase from synthetic phosphotyrosine peptide substrates based on a colorimetric assay using malachite green-molybdate complex that shifts in light absorbance to 620-630 nm in the presence of inorganic phosphates.
Other Notes
Phosphotyrosine substrates supplied are sufficient for 120 reactions.
