Biochem/physiol Actions

枯草杆菌蛋白酶A是丝氨酸S8内蛋白酶家族的一员。它具有宽泛的特异性并在P1位对大的未带点残基具有偏好性。它可水解天然和变性的蛋白，并在碱性条件下具有活性。
蛋白酶可通过肽键的水解使蛋白质分解代谢。 蛋白酶可被丝氨酸活性位点抑制剂所灭活，如苯甲基磺酰氟（PMSF）和二异丙基氟磷酸盐。

General description

枯草杆菌蛋白酶是一种具有27 KDa分子量并不含有二硫键的非糖基化单一多肽链。

Other Notes

在pH 7.5，37 °C 条件下，一单位的酶每分钟将会水解酪蛋白以产生与1.0 μ摩尔 (181 μg) 酪氨酸等同的颜色（Folin-Ciocalteu试剂提供的颜色）。

    Our notes indicate that a 0.1% solution (1 mg/mL) in PBS or TBS can be stored for about a week at 0-4°C.  For longer term storage, we would advise freezing the stock solution in aliquots.
