戊四唑（PTZ）为四唑衍生物，是γ氨基丁酸（GABAA）及其受体复合物的抑制剂。 PTZ是用于诱发惊厥的惊厥剂。可穿透血脑屏障。

Application

戊四唑用于诱发斑马鱼幼虫、小鼠和雄性Wistar大鼠发生惊厥。

Biochem/physiol Actions

戊四唑是非特异性中枢神经系统（CNS）兴奋剂和惊厥剂。PTZ诱发氧化应激，增加皮质内丙二醛含量并影响海马体功能，导致发生惊厥。
