吡喃糖氧化酶(P20),是由共价结合的黄素腺嘌呤二核苷酸组成的同型四聚体蛋白质,主要存在于担子菌类木材腐朽菌中。
应用
吡喃糖氧化酶(来源于云芝)已用于D-葡萄糖(DG)的酶法氧化。它还可作为氧清除系统(OSS)组分以延长荧光团寿命。
生化/生理作用
吡喃糖氧化酶(P2O)催化吡喃醛糖C-2位氧化成为相应的2-酮醛糖。吡喃糖氧化酶的体内底物据认为是D-葡萄糖、D-半乳糖和D-木糖。 它们可分别被氧化成为2-酮基-D-葡萄糖(D-阿拉伯-己-2-酮糖,2-脱氢-D-葡萄糖)、2-酮基-D-半乳糖(D-来苏型-己-2-酮糖,2-脱水-D-半乳糖)和2-酮基-D-木糖(D-苏型-戊-2-酮糖,2-脱水-D-木糖)。吡喃糖氧化酶对L-山梨糖、D-葡萄糖酸-1,5-内酯和D-阿洛糖等糖类有显著活性。 当吡喃糖氧化酶催化吡喃醛糖的氧化时,电子转移到分子氧上,从而形成过氧化氢。
吡喃糖氧化酶(P2O)在临床化学中可用于测定1,5-脱水-d-葡萄糖醇标志物,用于糖尿病患者的血糖控制。
