How can I store my solution of Pentobarbital sodium salt, Product P3761?
Solutions of the sodium salt are typically pH 9.0 - 11.0 (BP/USP). If the pH is lowered, the free acid will precipitate from solution. Solutions decompose on standing, the decomposition being accelerated at higher temperatures. We recommend to make solutions fresh.
