一般描述
紫檀芪(反式-3,5-二甲氧基-4-羟基芪)抗氧化剂是白藜芦醇的类似物,存在于蓝莓、树木和几种葡萄中。
应用
紫檀芪已用于:
- 研究其抗氧化应激活性以及在核转录因子E2相关因子2(Nrf2)-抗氧化反应元件(ARE)信号转导通路中的调节作用
- 确定其对激素耐受性乳腺癌细胞雌激素受体α(ERα)转录激活的影响
- 通过MTT(3-[4,5-二甲基噻唑-2-基]-2,5二苯基四氮唑溴化物)活力检测法研究其对人表皮样癌细胞(A-431)中2-氯乙基乙基硫醚(CEES)的细胞毒性的影响。
生化/生理作用
抗氧化、抗增殖、细胞凋亡诱导、抗高血糖、抗糖尿病。
紫檀芪对几种恶性肿瘤具有抗癌作用,因此可作为活性抗癌药物。在雌激素受体阳性和阴性乳腺癌细胞系中,它可激活细胞凋亡并抑制细胞活性。
